Getting ahead of disasters

Uniquely diverse

The Risk-informed Early Action Partnership (REAP) is the uniquely diverse partner-driven space for coming together to make sense of the complicated early action ecosystem.

Risk-informed early action is not simply about acting ahead of disasters, but about transforming the way we invest in people’s resilience and creating an enabling and sustainable environment for reducing disaster impacts.

HOW WE OPERATE

We are partner-led: REAP is driven by its members, empowering them to shape priorities and actions.

We strengthen regional mechanisms: REAP leverages and reinforces existing regional structures to scale and sustain impact at all levels.

We are supported by a small secretariat: REAP ensures efficiency, adaptability, and close alignment with Partner needs through a lean Secretariat.
