Any country, organisation or initiative may join the Partnership

Becoming a REAP Partner involves a commitment to open, honest, and collaborative working, contributing to shared aims and building lasting connections that underpin the success of our work.

REAP aims to build a network of networks across communities, levels and contexts. Therefore, many organisations are already members of REAP via their membership to REAP partner networks and do not need to apply individually. REAP encourages smaller organizations to join these partner networks to have a stronger voice.

Anyone sharing REAP’s ambition and identifying actions or making commitments towards achieving REAP’s objectives is welcome to join. Commitments can be operationalized either directly through ongoing or future activities, or indirectly by supporting the work of REAP and its Partners.

Joining for collective influence

Through convening, community building, knowledge exchange, and collective influencing, REAP helps Partners to make sense of the complex early warning, early action landscape and learn together how to foster coherence and complementarity of efforts and enable resilient systems for risk-informed early action at scale.

Check representation through existing networks

Please review the full list of REAP's current Partners and identify any whose networks you already belong to, then initiate an internal discussion about how you can best contribute to the ongoing work of REAP through them.

f you do not currently engage with any existing Partners, the following networks may be of interest: the Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR), the International Council of Voluntary Agencies (ICVA), the START Network, Insurance Development Forum (IDF), Global Heat Health Information Network (GHHIN), or the Arab Network for Environment and Development.

Conversation with the REAP Secretariat

Before submitting a letter of intent, all prospective partners are requested to engage in a conversation with the REAP Secretariat.

This step allows us to:

Better understand your organisation’s role and added value,
Clarify representation pathways, including indirect membership,
Ensure strong alignment with REAP’s priorities and approach.

SUBMIT LETTER OF INTENT AND LOGO

Following your discussion with the Secretariat, you may be invited to submit a Letter of Intent, including your organisations logo, based on the attached template.

This letter should outline:

Your organisation’s commitment to early action
How you intend to contribute to REAP’s objectives
Your intended level of engagement at global, regional, or national level

Prospective Partners not able to join an existing network are invited to submit the letter of intent together with their logo to the REAP Secretariat at reap.secretariat@ifrc.org confirming their desire to join REAP as a Partner and identifying specific actions and commitments that contribute to the implementation of REAP’s strategy.
