This workplan sets out the changes that REAP wants to see in finance for early action, with associated activities and milestones, to further the Partnership’s progress towards achieving Target 2. It builds on the recommendations of the Finance for Early Action: Tracking Commitments, Trends, Challenges and Opportunities report released in June 2022 and the Wilton Park dialogues that followed, in which participants discussed practical next steps for each of the report recommendations. The document was updated in January 2024 to reflect progress during 2023, particularly in light of the launch and on-going implementation of the ‘Getting Ahead of Disasters’ Charter.
